I knew of Simon through the photography community and had the pleasure of capturing their engagement photos. We used some quirky little streets around Leeds City Center, which were perfect for our fall engagement shoot. This is when I first met Sunita and we discussed wedding photography briefly.

Sunita is from Nepal originally and wanted to honour her families traditions in their Wedding Day. This meant have a Buddhist ceremony. Once the calendar for 2019 had opened, the set their date - 30th June 2019. A beautiful summer wedding in the heart of Canterbury - Chilham,

Fast forward a few months to the Mehndi Party on 28th June, Sunita surrounded herself the wonderful women in her life from work, family and friends. Local Kent henna Design Artist, Sajidahp, was on hand to create beautiful designs ahead of the wedding day…including a hidden message in Sunita’s hand to keep her fiance near ahead of the wedding day.

The wedding itself started at Sunita’s parents home, where her sisters got her dressed and did her beautiful hair and make-up. Lady Penelope’s delivered the bridal bouquets in plenty of time for setting off for the wedding ceremony. The ceremony was a wonderful Buddhist ceremony that went into cocktail hour where everyone chatted and greeted the newly married couple - Mr & Mrs Amos.

The evening ended with a beautiful mini couples session at sunset, in the grounds of Chilham Village Hall. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Amos and Thank You for letting me be a part of your special day.
